STUDIO

AAVRA is a design studio established in 2006 in Paris, now based in Lille, at the cultural crossroads of Europe.

We are specialized in two different but extremely complementary fields of activity.
First, we design and develop projects of different scales - objects, pieces of furniture, spaces.
We also offer design support for artists, galleries, museums or art foundations in art production - artistic installations, sculptures.

Our workshop takes place at «Hangar» in Lille, a mixed space composed of a large prototyping and production workshop.
The space is equipped with different machines to work with all types of materials - wood, plastic, metal - as well as 3D printing and digital machining.
Of course, a space is also reserved for design and development, through drawing or CAD tools.
We have also created a material library, a real support for research.

Particularly sensitive to constant changes in our world, from a societal, artistic or technological point of view, our cultural knowledge linked to the art world allows us to have an expert eye and a critical approach.
Our technical knowledge, both in the field of industry and innovation as in craftsmanship gives us the means to imagine and carry out projects that seem impossible !
